I am very excited for my first hockey feature game. The game is held at Kerry Park on Saturday. All of the Shawnigan and Brentwood students will be there. We have a black and gold day today—which I love because I can wear what I want—and a pep rally tonight, to get everyone's' spirits high for the big game. Both the junior and senior team will play and, as a new student, I am told this will be so much fun. People are making signs and there will be face pain and a sea of black and gold. Particularly because I am only attending Shawnigan for one year—as a student from Germany—I am looking forward to this Shawnigan event and yearly tradition.
