I first came to Shawnigan Lake School at beginning of September. My first impression was that the campus was huge and it was surrounded by nature. The people here were very kind and obliging; the seniors in the House welcomed me and introduced themselves. The teachers are very friendly and look after us. The grade eight-rugby team is exciting to play and our coaches are wonderful.

My favourite part of this school is the fine arts program. There are a variety of choices—I chose to play clarinet in band and I am really enjoying it. I expect myself to do my best and enjoy my life at Shawnigan!
