Squash

Victoria Squash Tournament—The Shawnigan squash players (present and a couple coming in the future!) had a very good start to the season at the Victoria Squash Tournament on the 9-10th of January. They all played well and gained valuable experience about match play and game strategy. For many players, it was the first time they were facing opposition from other schools and clubs. Special thanks go to Ilze van Rooy, Wendy Norman and Craig Thornber for all the photos they took. Mention should also be made of the wonderful support we had from many families: Letient, Leighton, Mouret, Osorio Diaz, Hutchinson, Parker, Yates, Boulter. 

The players came away with good performances in many of the events. Some notable results were:

Division Winners - Bogdan, Ron, Lizzie, Avi.

Runners-Up - Kevyn, Andy, Tomoko, Hadyn, Miguel, Max.
