Monster Erg

Monster Erg kicks off the competitive season for the Shawnigan rowers.

Although the athletes seemed very nervous the days prior to the event, they all performed at the top of their game and really impressed their coaches with their confidence and approach to the event. Although this is an individual event on the rowing machines, it often brings the team together as they are competing against some of the top club athletes on the Island. With the first on-water regatta next weekend, this past event showed we are taking the right steps for our competitive season.
