Cross-country Running

Excellent results for Shawnigan runners in the first of the Gutbuster Trail Race Series on Saturday. Running the tough, scenic 6km course up Mt Tzouhalem, Shawnigan took first place in the men's and women's under 20 category.Captain Alana M. paced the Shawnigan team with her 46:35 clocking, with grade 10 runner Alex W. just off her shoulder. In second place in the men's junior category was Chris K Rounding out the field in 4th and 5th, Trevor B. and Edward Z. Congratulations to the team for another set of impressive results.
