Sr. Tennis Places 3rd at Provincials

We were probably the second best team at this year's event, but met the champions in the semis thereby making a third place finish the best we could accomplish. Under the leadership of Charlotte H. and John W., all players acquitted themselves admirably both as tennis players and as ambassadors for SLS. Specifically, John’s play was outstanding for the entire tournament. Mr. Austin, as Commissioner for Provincial AA Tennis, once again took on the lion's share of organizing both AA and the AAA events. He deserves congratulations for making sure that both events unfolded so smoothly having to move 24 teams from outdoor to indoor venues at the last moment. This third place finish brings SLS's medal count to 5 silver and 4 bronze at provincial championships for tennis.
