Grade 8 Rugby
The grade 8 rugby boys got off to a fine start to their season yesterday. They played mini games against SMUS (Victoria) and local rivals, George Bonner School, in wet conditions on the International field. With only a few practices under their belts they boys played with lots of enthusiasm, ran hard and tackled well.
In our first game against a very polished SMUS team we lost 3 tries to 1. George scoring our only try in the corner late in the second half. In our second game against a much bigger George Bonner team we won 4 tries to 1. Three tries by George and one by Brandon--A promising start!
