My Schedule
Monica - Grade 12
My day usually starts with the painful alarm clock sounding beside my head and me shuffling off to the washroom for a hot shower. Then I make breakfast with my roommate and groggily eat it in bed, slowly enjoying every spoonful. I get dressed in my uniform and head down to my first class, which is Geo. Learning about weather systems doesn’t exactly excite me when I have just awoken. The next class is bio, whereI learn about the process of breathing. I become very happy when Break nears because that means cookies! Cookies make everything better. I walk back to my house enjoying every bite, and then gather a new set of books. Comparative Civilizations starts and I begin to wake up. After that class I head back to the dorm to take my blissful spare. If I have a lot of homework, I will force myself to do it. If not, I take a nice nap. I walk down Copeman's stairs heading to Marion Hall to have lunch and socialize with friends. Last block is English, where I learn about the use of comma’s. Classes end at 2:45 and I quickly head back to Groves' house to get changed for sport. I then travel 20 minutes in the bus to Duncan to work out in the gym or go for a swim. We return to school just in time for dinner, and I’m starving. After dinner I sign in and get started on some work. At 9:00, it’s time for Stag Café. Sometimes I will not tempt myself. I'll go to the gym instead. I sign in at 10:15 and get ready for bed. I crawl into bed absolutely beat from the hectic day and enjoy 5 minutes of comfort before I’m out. I fall asleep very quickly here at Shawnigan and dream of the amazing restful weekend ahead.
