Fresh off leading his squad to a second consecutive AAA Provincial Championship, Shawnigan 1st XV Head Coach Tim Murdy has been selected as an Assistant Coach of the Canadian Senior Men's Select XV in the upcoming Americas Rugby Championship (ARC).

On Monday, October 18th, members of Shawnigan's Admissions and Advancement deprartments will be hosting a San Francisco gathering, and all Bay Area members of the greater Shawnigan community are invited to come and join in the fun!

The event will be held at the Stanford Court Residence Hotel (905 California St.) and will run from 6:00-8:30. There will be appies served along with the opportunity to share in a drink or two and rub shoulders with other parents, alumni and friends of the School. If you are able to be a part of the evening, we would love to see you!

Shawnigan grad Geoff Roth, in a surprise move just 18 days before the famous Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race has been moved into the “Blue” boat–the top Cambridge crew. In a final time-trial Geoff beat out another rower who had been named to the crew.

On August 22, 2009 the graduating class of 2004 got together at the Yaletown Brewery in Vancouver for our 5 year reunion. An event like this is dreaded by most high school grads, but for Shawnigan graduates it's always something to look forward to. We may have matured a little bit since high school, and some of us even have careers now, but the quality of the people and friends we made at school hasn't changed at all.
